Jinhan rab da naam dhyaya jag te sachche shah ne oh; Duniyan di sabh daulat nun kehnde ant swaha ne oh. Samjhan is duniyan nun fani aashak siraf baka de oh; Be-parwaah oh sachche bande nagme gaan khuda de oh. Poore gur ton samajh ke sach nun kach naal nata torhan jo; Kahe avtar oho ne gursikh rab naal nata jorhan jo. |

Those who remember God's Name are the real rich ones in this world; They declare the wealth and treasure of this world to be mere dust at last. They take this world as perishable and they love only the Eternal One; They are true ones with nothing to worry, and they always sing the glory of God. Those who understand the Truth from the True Master and snap their ties with ephemeral world; Avtar says, those who remain united with God, are the true disciples. |
Meaning
Those who don't attach themselves to the wealth and treasure of this world, instead they give importance to the name of God. They realise that this world is perishable and they love only the God almighty. They are true ones with nothing to worry, and they always sing the glory of God. They understand this Truth from the True Master and detach themselves from this short lived world. And those who remain united with God, are the true disciples.
